  • Developing Product Safety Management Plans and delivering robust safety programmes.
  • Facilitating hazard identification and risk analysis activities using recognised techniques such as FMEAFailure Modes and Effects Analysis: a bottom-up method cataloging how components fail and what effects those failures produce. Read more and Fault Tree AnalysisA top-down deductive analysis tracing an undesired top event to combinations of lower-level faults using boolean logic. Read more (FTA).
  • Producing high-quality Safety CaseA structured argument, supported by a body of evidence, that a system is acceptably safe for a specific application in a specific environment. Read more reports that demonstrate products are safe for their intended use.
  • Working closely with Design, Manufacturing, Systems and Project teams to ensure safety is embedded throughout the engineering process.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on safety requirements, risk reduction strategies and regulatory compliance.
  • Acting as the technical focal point for product safety within multidisciplinary engineering programmes.

You'll have experience within Product Safety or System Safety in a regulated engineering environment and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
